Harley and Poison Ivy Fanart Part 02.

I know.... I already have posted something about this image on September 13th, but that time this image was only on pencil and I said I would do it on Acrylics too for sale.

Well..... I did have not time yet for the coloring version of it. I have been working on other projects and pinups images, but I really wanted to do at least the inking version for this image.

I really like both characters!!!

I guess, it should be nice to share with all of you some pictures I took comparing the pencil and inking version.

I hope you like it.

Now I have Pencil and Ink original art for sale (or.... I may keep one of them for my personal collection).

I really intended to get this picture showing the pencil version on my easel from this distance so you could see on the left side some drawings from my students (children under 12 years old) and on the right side you can see drawings from some friends ( do you have any idea who did the superman face and the hulk?)

Image 01 => Harley & Poison 11X17 inches pencil on paper finished and ready for posting and sale.

Image 02 => Just a zoom in to show a little better some details on the characters.

Image 03 => Zoom in on Harley (Pencil). I thought it would be nice to show a little more her face and I also liked a lot the render I did on her costume. I used 4B and 6B pencils basically.

Image 04 => Zoom in on Harley (Ink). I did a different render on inking because it is another media and it was the fourth time (I guess) I was working on this image, so I decided to do some details differently.

Image 05 and 06 => the same idea for Poison Ivy.

You can notice that basically, from the pencil to the ink version I worked on the hatches on a different way.

Here I have the sketch, pencil and ink version of the same image.... one of the things on traditional work is: you should work in the same image until you get it better and ready for sale with a "decent" quality.

Just do as many time as necessary if you really want to get your skills improved ;-)

This is my first pinup of Fangirl Theme.

I had this idea as soon as I've seen the Captain America Movie and wish to do more Fangirls images.
This pinup shouldn't be cute or sexy, she is a caricature of a fan mind... a extreme lover of a comic character... as I like to create.....it's just a joke. :)
Because I AM A CAP'S FAN TOO!! hahahaha!
The second image shows my pursuit of the perfect expression, and one more time no one was available to be my model. So...what to do? :)

I would like to share with you the pictures of the "bonus" I used to send to the buyers of my traditional arts.
In this case this original painting (acrylics): Batman, was sold on Ebay and I am shipping it to the buyer.
Together he will receive a complete set of images related to the character.
There is the 11X17, 8X11 and 4X6 inches digital prints of the painting; 8X11 and 4X6 inches of the pencil sketch and two 4X6 inches toy art prints.

But the bonus does not finish yet, there are some more items, exclusive for the buyer in a special packaging to protect the original art.

That is just a sample about how nice is buying my original arts ;-)

SOS MOTORCYCLE

This is "SOS Motorcycle" my newest pinup project.
In that design I show a beautiful girl that just opened her own Motocycle recovery business.
This kind of dirty and sweaty work can not draw her big motivation to do a good job. With innovative ideas and creativity she always finds solutions to recover tires that other professionals certainly would never imagine.
She is a great hard worker as you can see!

This project is diferent from my Comics images and Projects but are in the same way my great passion! My PINUPS!
In my studio I use label this kind of pinup as " Classic Pinup Girls" and my inspiration for that category are always my masters Leyendecker, Norman Rockwell and Gil Elvgreen.
I've worked over several sketches and choose the one I felt would be perfect to show my conceptual idea. After scan it I've started the digital painting work on Photoshop.
In the playlist I used to inspire me on this image concept was basically: Seven Day Fool - Jully Black.
More details, references and closups will be in the workshop of this image that I will be publishing here soon and in my forum :

Ms Marvel Painting Finally finished!
18"x14" Acrylics on Canvas.
I've spent more time than I wish on this piece, but I am happy even that. Acrylics is becoming my favorite traditional media... Its capacity to dry very fast...works for me like the "undo" button of my painting softwares (Photoshop and Painter). So, it's make me more than curious about what I can do with this media and my studies about lights, shades and composition.

Hello my friends!
Some months ago, for personal reasons, I've decided and announced that I would stop to create pinups images.
Well.. right now...after some new good things that happened on my life, carreer and countless messages from people that appreciate my Art with Pinups asking for new images...I have to say that I definitively can not stop.
On my personal Pinup projects, I like to create situations for my pinups that are a really big exciting adventure to me and all this process makes me more creative and very inspired. I like to create pinups with an interesting subject...a concept ...a curiosity...a joke... not only a beautiful girl standing up doing nothing. She is part of a small story in one single image...and because of that , each new pinup is a great challenge to me as an artist.
And there is another good thing really great happening to me right now...and it involves Comics Projects! Wow...I LOVE Comics and all that really good inspiration makes me thrilled and eager with what more else I can do with my heart and my Art!

So...I have to say.... "I am ready to come back to play with my dolls again !"

I hope to count on you all to see the new images are coming soon!

Hi my dear friends:

First of all, thank you very much for the e-mails about my last comic arts. They were really inspiring and motivating.

I have been preparing some comic material due my intentions to come back to the comic industry as a cover artist and colorist for internal pages.

Meanwhile I am posting some of my comic art (pinups) and original art to be sold. I still work with traditional pinup art, but I am drawing new girls that very soon will be released.

Well, here are 2 original arts for Wonder Woman available for sale. One in Pencil and another one in Ink.

One fan just appeared in front of my table and asked me to do one sketch of The Joker. He told me to come up with any idea that was fine for him.

Well..., I got a reference and asked hi if he would like his sketch more or less like my reference.... he asked me for different clothes and colors, but at the end worked pretty well in my opinion.

Everything took around 23 minutes since the beginning.

I liked it very much.

WOW, while I was painting a Joker appeared to check the job (what a coincidence, LOL)

WONDER WOMAN SKETCH - FCBD at STADIUM COMICS, BRAMPTON

While I was taking a break between Fans requirements I decided to do one Wonder Woman colored sketch.

I was very happy with the final result and it took only 16 minutes to be ready.

Actually I used one Alex Ross drawing, that I remembered, as reference to do this piece. It is more or less a cartoon version form his realistic and awesome drawing

Here are some pictures from the process.

This is the first drawing only with sharpie pen... I spent 8 minutes on it, so I decided starting the colors. Actually, you can see there is already a color on the star on the tiara. I took a picture of the drawing and from this point and ahead I took some pictures to show the painting.
